Objectives

The overarching objective of inclusivity in mental health will be achieved over a period of four years across six specific objectives:

  1. To address mental health stigma and discrimination via courses and trainings and specialized inclusivity teams, to educate and effectively communicate MH and inclusivity both in a personalized individual manner, as well as at a group-level, in a school and classroom setting.
  2. To engage adolescents in participatory research actions to understand their relevant mental health issues and to design tailored interventions for sustained mental health and well-being.
  3. To collect and integrate multiple-sourced sensor data and EMAs in ML models appropriated for mental health and behavior modeling.
  4. To develop a PA-based practical school intervention to break stigma through trained inclusivity teams and wearable devices.
  5. To test the intervention in a school-wide year-long proof of concept study.
  6. To develop and evaluate XAI tools for mental health and behavior models.
